Having grown up on the Central Coast of California, my series of bold landscapes captivate the hearts of many.  Based upon a photograph my friend Jason shot from a power paraglider way out over the Pacific Ocean looking back at Morro Bay and the mountain range known as the “Seven Sisters.”  This mountain range, initially volcanic, has always fascinated me.  My family and I love hiking and now that the kids are getting older, they are able to hike some of the more challenging mountains in San Luis Obispo county.

The original painting was sold in an auction and was painted with acrylic.  Prints are a great way to own a piece of art representing the Central Coast.  This painting is a TOP pick among my collectors and was snatched up after a big bidding war at the auction.  This painting went on to be the basis of a SLO Box Art winning submission and these epic skies and mountain range are now on a SLO Utility Box by the San Luis Obispo Airport.  Colorful and bold, this canvas print is an excellent choice for your space.
