The Morro Bay

Description

Exploration on simplicity and minimalism has allowed me to render some of our favorite landmarks with just a few strokes and color.  The title “The Morro Bay” is a play on how the bay is just a body of water to one of the morros….albeit one of the most famous morros for sure!  With 7, 9, or even sometimes talk of 14 ‘morros’ along the coast of San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, we call most of them mountains, with the exception of Morro Rock.  All dormant volcanoes, these plugs are all that remains of the volcanic chain.
